Buses Feedback Form

Following our success with pedestrian crossings at Sandhurst Road and bus services in Sherwood, I'm aware that many Pembury residents want improvements to bus transport in and around the village.

• Don't forget that KCC signed a "Quality Bus Partnership" with Arriva and Tunbridge Wells Borough Council earlier in 2008.  Click this link to read the report on what this means.
• We also managed to move back to the nine o'clock start for the Concessionary Fare Scheme, after the Government's national scheme moved it to 9.30am.
• In addition, KCC launched its "Freedom Pass" this year, giving unlimited home to school bus travel to young people for just £25 a year, and evening and weekend travel for £25 more.

I can't do anything if you don't tell me what the issues are, so I'm asking what you feel are key issues for bus services - is it reliability? The cleanliness of the buses themselves?  The routes chosen by bus companies?
